45th. year as Director
1 Continue to pray for Jackie as she battles cancer.
2 Pray for the staff, Linda, Jan, Pat and Joseph as we continue to further the ministry during Jackie’s battle.
3 Pray for Joseph as he assumes committee member responsibilities in addition to what he has been doing and as he
heads this ministry while Jackie is under the weather.
4 Praise the Lord for our county coordinators, Cindy, Nancy and Jana. Pray for them and for Sandy Grissom and Steve
Foster as they plan for the fairs.
5 Pray for churches to respond to letters sent out concerning adopting a day at the fair. Contact Joseph at 274-9781 if your
church is interested.
6 Praise for volunteers who are making Wordless Book bracelets for the fairs. More Volunteers are needed to assemble
the bracelets.
7 Praise the Lord for volunteers who have helped us with our large mailings.
8 Continue to pray for more volunteers for mailings. Our Spotlight mailing list is now over 3400.
9 Pray for our summer missionaries and their helpers. We have six 11 & 12 year olds who are assisting in 5-Day clubs this
year.
10 Pray that they will be our future summer missionaries.
11 Continue to pray for Jan as she schedules 5-Day clubs.
12 Pray for the Camp Jabez Blitz outreach. Praise that God has worked out the transportation issues. And for finances for
the program. Also pray for parents to get the required permission slips turned in promptly.
13 Continue to pray for TCE I (Teaching Children Effectively) enrollment. Classes are scheduled for September and
October. Contact the office for more information, 937-274-9781.
14 Pray for the Riverside Festival, August 27-29. Pray for workers, good weather and open hearts.
15 Praise for the good CYIA training at Cedarville University and for the local training here at the CEF office.
16 Pray for the finances of the ministry. Pray for a good response to letters sent out regarding finances for the fair.
17 Praise for the donation coming in for the Fairs and Festivals.
18 Pray that we meet our goal to pay all of the cost from special donations.
19 Pray for the Fairs that begin in August (Preble, July 31).
20 Pray for volunteers to work at the fairs.
21 Pray for the upcoming Good News Season. Pray that we can get teams for the schools we were in the last few years.
22 Pray for Jamestown to get a regular weekly club in the school.
23 Pray for Joseph as he works with the school administrations, pray that God will lead and help him.
24 Pray for the Committee as it continues to lead this ministry. Pray for new volunteers to join the committee.
25 Pray that volunteers come forward to assist in the needed repairs to our CEF building.
26 Praise God for the 160 children and 28 adults who heard the Gospel at the tent; and the 22 children who made decisions
for Christ at the June 26th. festival at Walnut Hills park in East Dayton.
27 Praise for the 14 volunteers workers, including the CYIAer’s who were there for eight hours (two four hour shifts).
28 Praise especially for Jana Renz for all she has done during the month of June to help in the CYIA training and the
Festival. She was here every training session. Thank you Jana! She drove every day from Wilmington, Ohio. Thanks for
Emma, Betsy, Nancy, Cindy, Pat and Joseph for their assisting as well.
29 Pray for the TEC class to be held in September & October. Pary that God leads several people to register for this class.
