1. Continue to pray for Jackie as she battles cancer. Pray that she will be able to eat sufficiently to maintain her strength. Pray for her as she experiences continuing fatigue. Pray that she can stay out of the hospital.
2. Pray for the staff, Betsey, Linda, Jan, and Pat that there will be strength for the ministry and a clear path through each day.
3. Pray for the committee as it continues to lead this ministry. Pray for new volunteers to join the committee.
4. Praise the Lord for our faithful fair coordinators: Nancy McNew, Sandi Grissom, Steve Foster, Cindy Miller.
5. Praise the Lord for a wonderful summer harvest. We contacted 4364 people and saw 492 children make decisions for our Lord Jesus. The statistics follow: Preble County Fair: 826 children and 127 adults heard the gospel; Greene County Fair: 560 children heard the gospel; Miami County Fair: 620 children and 27 adults heard the gospel; Darke County Fair: 621 children and 12 adults heard the gospel; Montgomery County Fair: 466 children and 39 children heard the gospel; Riverside Festival: 200 children and 6 adults heard the gospel; Southeast Dayton Festival (Walnuthills): 160 children and 6 adults heard the gospel; Piqua Heritage Festival: 205 children and 30 adults heard the gospel; 5-Day Clubs: 300 children attended and heard the gospel; Watermelon parties: 63 children were reached and 74 new children joined the Mailbox Club this summer. Praise God for the children and the workers who volunteered their time this summer.
6. Praise the Lord for fair and festival workers who braved the heat this summer to minister to the children.
7. Praise the Lord for faithful summer missionaries and for hostesses who graciously opened their homes to the children.
8. Pray for the upcoming Good News Season. Pray that we can get teams for the schools we were in the last few years. Pray for Jamestown to get a regular weekly club in the school. Pray for our 6-week club outreach. We plan to have at least 16 clubs on a 6-week rotation.
9. Pray for Betsey as she works with the school administrations, pray that God will lead and help her. Pray that all necessary paperwork will come in promptly.
10. Pray for returning workers as they prepare to get back into the ASGNC season. Pray for new workers.
11. Pray for the Children's Workers Training Seminars starting in September and continuing throughout the school year at various locations. Call the office for dates & times.
12. Pray that our finances continue to come in. So far we’re not behind in salaries. Praise God for your support and prayers.
13. Pray for volunteers to come forward to assist in the needed repairs to our CEF building.
